This past May 2019 Germantown Hills Chamber of Commerce started a Scholarship Program offering two $500 scholarships for Metamora Township High School graduates with the following specifications:  have a business major and attend our local colleges of either Illinois Central College, Bradley University, or Eureka College.
The two students who won this May 2019 were Isaac W Adams, and Josie L Koenig.
Isaac is the son of Scott and Jennifer Adams and lives in the Germantown Hills Area.   Isaac will be attending Illinois Central College for two years and then transferring to a four-year college.   He hopes to someday have his own financial advisory firm, and GHCC would love to see him back in the Germantown Hills area with his own company and hopefully a member of our Chamber.
Josie is the daughter of Michael and Tracey Koenig of Metamora and will be attending Eureka College this fall pursing a degree in Business and concentrating on the financial and economics side of it.   Her plan is following the path of the family business and becoming a major participant in the Koenig Trucking & Excavating business located in Metamora.
GHCC wishes these students lots of success in the future and would love to see them as new GH Chamber members in the upcoming years.
