More Tornadoes, Rain, & Floods From The West Coast To The East Coast

By NOAA/NASA

In the last two weeks or so, the U.S. has had 352 reported tornadoes in 22 states from California to New Jersey, with the Mid-West being bombarded the most. Unfortunately, there is more destructive weather to come, and Texas and Oklahoma are going to be hit very hard. Oklahoma has already had a large tornado tear through and damaged a number of their counties. They have also had extensive flooding as well. ( I have a relative who lives there, and she had to take a boat to get to work on Tuesday.) Kansas, Ohio, and Missouri have also had an enormous amount of extreme weather and the damage there is also extensive.

Recently more thunderstorms including tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail went through the South, Mid-West and throughout the states heading toward New York.

Folks in Spring Bay are also experiencing heavy flooding, and with more rain coming, the result could force people to leave their homes. If you do have to leave, please go while you have sunlight. It is difficult to see at night. the road could be flooded and you may not be able to tell until you are driving through it. On that same note if you do see a flooded road DO NOT drive through it. "Turn around. Don't drown." Please do not risk your life or anyone else's.
