Illinois Central College Welcomes Phi Theta Kappa Students for Spring 2019, Metamora Herald


EAST PEORIA, IL (05/22/2019)-- Illinois Central College recently welcomed students who accepted membership into Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society during the Spring 2019 semester. The local, five-star chapter, Upsilon Mu, has more than 500 students.

Farije Asani of Metamora, IL
Margaret Kleen of Metamora, IL
Madison Vancil of Metamora, IL
Thomas Hallman of Germantown Hills, IL
Phi Theta Kappa is the only internationally recognized scholastic honor society for students of community colleges. Membership is by invitation only and is based on scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service.
Membership in ICC's chapter requires that a student complete at least 12 credit hours of college level coursework with at least a 3.5 GPA. They must be enrolled at ICC in the semester for which they accept membership.
