Metamora Resident Presents Research at World Stem Cell Summit

PEORIA, IL (11/20/2018)-- Katherine Kessler from Metamora (61548) was one of only two students to present research at the World Stem Cell Summit. The conference, held in Miami, is a gathering of the world's experts in stem cell research.
Kessler is a student in the Bohlander Stem Cell Research Laboratory in the Biology department at Bradley University whose research on the use of stem cells to attack ovarian cancer is overseen by Dr. Craig Cady.
Bradley University is a top-ranked, private university in Peoria, Illinois, offering 5,400 undergraduate and graduate students the resources of a larger university and the personal attention of a smaller university.
