Party in the Park Needs Sponsors and Volunteers

Party in the Park Needs Sponsors and Volunteers, Metamora Herald

The Metamora Park Foundation is holding the first ever "Party in the Park" at Black Partridge Park on July 14. Live music is scheduled to be provided by Dexter O’Neal & Funk Yard, and Eye39. There will be great refreshment options with multiple food trucks and a beer garden provided by Germantown Grille. There will be a DJ spinning tunes, a dance floor to strut your stuff on, and games for adults and children. This party is bound to be a hit and sure to become a tradition.

These types of events take plenty of cash and (hu)manpower to be successful. There are two easy ways for interested folks to get involved. Volunteers are needed to help with all aspects of set up, operations, and tear down/clean up. If you would be interested in volunteering check out this link with several opportunities to accommodate any busy schedule.

Perhaps your business or group would like to help sponsor this event? There are multiple levels of sponsorship running from $150 level for single attractions, all the way up to the $1000 "Gold" sponsor level. Gold sponsors receive "Marketing Material Mentions, Social media
Mentions, Onsite Signage, 10 wristbands(merchant tent if desired)". Only a single Gold level sponsor spot left, so act now to make sure your organization is represented at the Party in the Park. Call Chad Udell at 309 635 6968 or email [email protected] for more information.

  1. Just a small clarification... we DO INDEED plan to have 3 bands, but no DJ/Dancefloor this year. Maybe next year we can grow this event! Thanks for your support.

Be sure to buy tickets in advance. Getting tickets early helps us estimate the crowd and cover the costs that are already popping up in producing this event.
