Local Entrepreneurs Feature: Josh Ketcherside

Metamora Herald Towing business card

Josh Ketcherside is a local entrepreneur who owns two businesses located here in Metamora, IL. Some of you around town may know him from one or both of them. Illinois Central Towing is Josh’s local towing company. KetchTech is his local IT company, and both are located at 116 North Davenport, on the Metamora Square.
He grew up around a farm and learned the value of working hard, being a good neighbor and good friend at a young age. He learned the value of doing something right the first time, and what it means to fix something that's broken rather than just buying something new.  Josh was also a volunteer firefighter and EMT for a few years.
Josh still believes in helping people out, and his towing company does just that.  In the winter of 2015/16, during a particularly bad storm, Josh was towing as many people as he could off of the road and out of ditches, out of harm's way, sometimes for nothing at all.  He was concerned about people, so he drove along the roads to make sure no one was stuck in the freezing weather, and probably saved a few lives that day.
KetchTech sells, installs and maintains commercial networks, servers and infrastructure, and specializes in point of sale systems and credit/gift card processing for bars, restaurants and retail establishments of all kinds.  KetchTech is the only QuickBooks Premier Reseller within 170 miles of Peoria, IL.  Contact or call (844) 723-7098 if you have any questions for him or IT needs.  Josh Ketcherside is a great business owner for the community.  He has brought jobs to the area and is very helpful with other business owners.  He is also a Notary Public and is now running for a seat on the Metamora Village Board.  Good luck to you Josh, and to all the other candidates running in this election.  Don’t forget to vote on Tuesday, April 4th.
